Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma". 
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Today. it's the Cocteau Twins queued up in Roon...

Heaven or Las Vegas (1990)
Treasure (1984)
Head Over Heels (1983)

This is a discovery project. For the last year Roon and Tidal have been reporting that the Cocteau Twins are similar to artists I've listened to. 

So far, I've heard similarities: The Sundays, Dead Can Dance, The Cure, Kate Bush, Everything But The Girl. I like what I'm hearing... 

...so I'll keep listening until I veer off in another direction. 

I just renewed my Roon subscription for another year. Roon and Tidal are either the best thing that's ever happened to my music listening or negatively impacting my already too short attention span.
