Plinius SA 103, 102 or 100. 100 watts into 8 ohms, switchable between Class A and Class AB. I use an SA 100 mk III on Class A when listening to music and AB when using it in the HT system. Plinius has a nice smooth "analog" sound that is great!

Who today is making a modern,remote controlled,Class A Integrated Amplifier,stable into a 4 ohm load,up to around $3500.00 & available in the USA?
I know the Unison Research Unico's use a sliding Class A(fancy way of saying Class A/AB) & Sim Audio Moon series run Class A up to 5 watts but I'm looking for something that runs full Class A at rated power output.Thanks very much...

I don't know if this will be in your price range but take a look at the Grandinote Solo, 60 wpc of pure class A, remotely controlled and you can select streamer-DAC or pre-phone built in...The price is out of your request but perhaps you can find some other model at a lower price. They make the very acclaimed Shinai, 37 wpc in pure Class A but you will need an external DAC/ Pre-phono. A lot of very very good reviews on their website... Hope this can help, Good listening! |
