Guns N Roses.
Whats playing on your system today?
Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.
I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....
Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....
Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

ghosthouse, Great post, thanks for the links. Like you, I am not big fan of Miller. But he has some great hits that will live on. I recently played his greatest hits out by the pool with friends. His groove is refreshing every now and then. Today I listened to Wishbone Ash, Just Testing.... I found a great link of them performing "Living Proof". https://youtu.be/L6xxDrPgIis jafant, Not a big GNR fan but Slash ranks high on my guitar hero list. N |
Hey Nutty - Not sure what hits collection you were playing. The 2 compilations that I like (they focus on pre-Fly Like an Eagle) are Steve Miller Band - Anthology and Steve Miller Band - The Best of 1968 - 1973. Good reminder on Wishbone Ash. I will have to dig into them. Have some OLD vinyl that was/is my wife's but they never hooked me. Still, worth trying again. One of the first bands to feature twin leads. haha - I gave jafant some grief about GnR over on The Minority Report. Hope he doesn't mind. |
