I have tried several subs, but sorry no Martin Logan. I currently have in my 2 channel setup (2) JL F-113's and they are really great subs.

With my home theater set up I am using (2) Outlaw Audio subs and an older M&K. When the home theater pass through is activated, the front speakers and the JL F-113's kick in. That makes a total of 5 subs used with my home theater.

I guess what I'm trying to say is you can not have too much bass (sub power) when watching movies with all the explosions, etc.

i'm currently running my revel f30s with a ml depth and i'm very happy with the pairing. the ml is very fast and tight and gives some weight to the f30s, which are lean at the low end. haven't heard the f208s but surmise ithey'd have similar character.
I agree with akg_ca. I have the Vandersteen 2w's (not q's) as well as Hsu subs (VTF?), and can attest that the vandy system is truly outstanding.
The HSU is no slouch, but the vandersteen crossover really does work wonders.
As bob_reynolds pointed out, HSU subs should do the job for you and save you some money that could be put to other upgrades.

If you want a great reasonably priced sub why are you not considering a Revel B110? Typical overbuilt Revel.
