What a sad day. R.I.P.

Heard a singer songwriter from Minnesota perform the best interpretation of Cohen’s Hallelujah of anyone I have ever heard. He literally had the house so quiet you could hear a pin drop. And it was just him, barefoot, sitting on a stool with his guitar. What a beautiful song! Thank you Leonard for all you have done.

I applause to every song he's ever wrote and still can't say good buy to my all times favorite poet and songwriter!

Certainly one of the all time best. His lyrics & delivery were top notch.
 

I got hooked with Suzanne, and just explored his music from there. His crafting as a wordsmith produced a confluence of melody, cynicism, and emotion, stirring the imagination. He leaves us wanting more, but plenty to entertain us rediscovering his work for the balance of our lives.
