Not sure where to post my question so I put it here RE: RCA Input switcher...

Trying to find a switch for 2 RCA inputs to output into 1 pair of speakers.

I'm having a hard time finding a switch box to accept 2 inputs from separate amps which allow them to be played through 1 pair of speakers. I have a really nice 2CH fully analog tube setup for music, and use the same main speakers as front mains in a 5.1 A/V setup for home theatre. Because of logistics/space/spouse approval etc. it is a PITA to switch speaker cables depending on the preference of inputs. Any help on a source for a simple 2 RCA line level input x 1 speaker level output switcher?

"Be sure to add a pair of 100-150ohm 10W resistor on tube amp side speakers connectors to keep the tube amp permanently loaded and not degrade performance much."

Correct me if I am thinking wrong here, but as long as my tube amps are off they don't need a load on their outputs, correct?

So as long as I switch the speakers over to the tube amp side before I power up the amps all should be good?

Thanks for the replies all.

I ordered the Beresford TC7220 today. It is exactly what I was looking for, but nothing comparable to it ever came up in a search I did. Thanks again for advice.
