limniscate ...I would not be to critical of the Veritas monoblocks until you have substantial burn in time on them. It takes a decent amount of time before the party gets started...

Hi limniscate  I agree with aolmrd1241 the Veritas take a very long time to break in, but my veritas  sound good, right out of the box at bout 200.hrs the sound

stage came alive at about 400.hrs the bass came as well, at the 800.hrs I remember calling my audiophile friend to coming for a listening, the first thing he said was Wow. play some Jazz Latin music and classical music, every genre of  music that we play sound very close to live music. I contact Merrill about my friend and I experience listening to the Veritas, and this is what he told me, would you like to try the Christine Reference P- amp. And I said yes please. I install it on my system, and the only thing that I can tell is Wow, it is like having a live concert  on your own private living room, this the most honest way that I describe the sound that I'm hearing honest to god. limniscate if you have any question in regard to the Veritas monoblocks or the Christine P-amp,please let me know

I will be glad to talk to, good lock with the Veritas best

regards Juan.

I ended up sticking with the Magtech.  There just wasn't enough difference to justify switching.  After more thorough testing, the Magtech and Veritas actually sounded very similar.

The Veritas should have been broken in since they were a demo pair.
Thanks for your informative observations.  So it seems that the Veritas became more laid back after break in, compared to initially.  Correct?
