Condescending remarks about members

I apologize to members who I offended with my evaluation of jmcgrogan2 and his peculiar sense of humor! I realize tolerance and tact in the face of questionable behavior must be maintained! Should non sincere advise by members be tolerated on this site! That's my question! I find Audiophile advise should be sincere!

Sometimes sarcasm can be a bit too biting, and those who cross the line shouldn't be too thin skinned for a sharp rebuke.

If you take offense to John's comment, maybe you should stay away from the forums. He commented that there was another thread to start an argument about cables. If you have been here long enough, you realize those threads (arguments) have been going on since the forum started, and the result now will be exactly the same as it was 15 years ago. When you have been a member for the length of time and seen the number of non productive cable arguments that he has, you will possibly begin to understand. In addition, the comment was harmless. If you don't like it, just ignore it. Compared to many of the comments that are posted now on these forums, that was very mild and didn't merit any mention. Also, learn how to use punctuation man. Not every sentence ends with an exclamation point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Questions end with question marks and regular conversation ends with a period. Unless, of course, you feel like what you have to say is that important.
