@tostadosunidos , You don't have to smoke pot to consume it. Having now several states with legal weed, you can use vaporizer that is not dangerous to lungs. I don't smoke either. I either vape or eat cannabis infused meals on daily bases. During weekend I'm stoned whole day and during week days I'm stoned as soon as I'm out of office. @wolf_garcia There could be possible deaths from marijuana usage, but not from it directly. You can get asleep at the wheel or loose vehicle control and get killed just like from alcohol. Having a descent knowledge about types and grades of weed I can vary my menu weather I want to stay active stoned or passive. Skydiving when stoned is another super-thrill and I do that when I get chance before I reach an airplane! Also want to mention that only naturally grown and unprocessed weed along with medical grade is safe to use. Tried the 'street' grade years back and concluded that it IS dangerous. |
I'm meant "directly," and the "just like alcohol" comment is silly and you should take it back or get docked 3 points for misinformation. I can balance on one foot juggling 5 chain saws while solving the Sunday NY Times crossword in 10 minutes while stoned. Most accidents involve people who haven't been smoking OR drinking, so we need to get rid of those people, and understand actual statistics…like the fact that driving deaths plummeted after Colorado legalized weed, and also note I'm 66 and grew up in Hawaii…weed SHMEED…nobody should be worrying about it…and, it's legal in my state (MA). |
@czarivey- "Skydiving when stoned is another super-thrill and I do that when I get chance before I reach an airplane!" I’m a jumper(since 1980) and a toker as well(as are about half of those at our DZ). One of the last things I’d do, is impair my senses anytime in the day, before jumping. Not that I’m that obsessed about my own safety(ie: no AAD / 89 sq ft Crossfire 2, loaded 2.1 to 1 ), but- rather concern about my DZO’s reputation and the safety of those on jump with me. There aren’t that many collisions in freefall, but they happen. Canopy collisions are more prevalent, and on the rise annually, due to the increase in high-performance mains and landings. What you do in your listening room, or at home, is one thing. But, your altered state of mind in the air, is dangerous for ALL of us! Here’s hoping you don’t hold any ratings!
