Sheesh, some of you folks amaze me to say the least. I'd like to have some of the "old junks" from some of those lists : ) Quite impressive to say the least.

Having that many different speakers and the associated listening / fine tuning experiences is a great education in itself, isn't it ? It's just amazing to me how much one component change can make in terms of system synergy with each different set of speakers.

I can't believe that I forgot about the JSE 1.8s I used to own. How would I have gotten through the late 80's without those Infinite Slopes? Never was turned on enough by the JSE 2s to go for them, although I did have them in a too small room(stored them for a friend who was moving). They lacked life to my ears.
