@rvpiano Charging your card and not shipping *might* be against the law and if its not it should be.
I did ask Schiit via email if they charge the card prior to shipping and they stated they do not. In my case they have not charged my card. Also, fwiw, when I initially placed the order online, it was rejected by my credit card company as a possible fraudulent transaction. When I called my credit card company to allow the transaction, the rep claimed (paraphrasing) that the type of authorization hold Schiit was placing on the card was exceptional in that a significantly greater amount of information was obtained (from Schiit to the credit card co) relative to other vendors. The rep from my credit card company viewed this as a *good* sign and typical of reputable company.
