I saw Beck try in 2001, with the to-be-expected results. He came off as a complete lightweight, a little kid playing in a man's world. I felt sorry for him, but he should have known better. The arrogance of youth?

I know that Bob has his fans, and I acknowledge that he has a body of good work, although not the most recent work, but to say that he made Beck look like a lightweight is comical to me. Beck is young, but already has an amazing body of memorable music. He wouldn't pale in any company.
