What are some examples of seriously overrated bands? My candidates are

In the day I listen the Beatles, Led Zepp, Jimmi Hendrix, ZZ top ect. Not so much now. That doesn't mean they were not great. There is times I go back and listen to them and it brings back memories...a differant place in time.
