Joule Electra question

I have the opportunity to buy a used Joule Electra pre amp. Price seems good but the unit needs work. It powers up but only plays through the tape out. Is this just a replacement tube solve or are we talking bigger problems. Also. Any issues using this with my Sonus Faber Venere’s and Techniques 1200MK2? Looking to primarily get more depth out of my vinyl collection.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. So probably not something I should try to take on myself? I am relatively handy but new to higher end (and especially) vintage audio equipment.

If the tape output works, it is quite possible that the line stage isn't simply because of a bad tube. Give Rich as call as previously suggested (Rich is a great guy), (315) 622-4137; he may be able to advise you on that.

I owned one. Probably an easy fix if you are handy. All point to point wiring.
