Good Speaker within a budget of USD10,000

Hi ,
I plan to setup my sound system from scratch. And allocated a substantial part for speakers. My budget for a pair of speaker is USD10,000 maximum. I would love to get recommendation on choice of speakers both New and old.

Roberjerman the Double Impact SE is 6k? Spend the rest of the money thru Teo cable ultra ic , and GC if you have enough room, For monitors I go with Alnico High Output omega 3k, or the new B&W monitor 6k with the new MC Intosh Tube,I think it’s hybrid,It depends what kind a music you play. For 10k you have plenty of choices....
+1 jsm71, and don't buy ear-blind! Go audition. All speakers, more so than any other component, have sonic signatures. Who knows what YOU will like the sound of? Go listen, listen some more...then buy, and buy smart.

Your room size is similar to mine (13 x 17). I use JansZen Valentina hybrid ESLs paired with twin Rythmik 12G subwoofers. The JansZen’s are flat to 30Hz and do bass really well. With the subs I have the scale and impact of a much larger and expensive speaker. The speaker/sub combo fits your budget. I ran the JansZens without subs for a number of years, quite happy. The subs are a recent addition, icing on the cake.

The JansZens are an easy load for an amp so either SS or tube electronics work. Some JansZen customers I know (including me) use tube gear. We think that makes them sound the best.

That sounds like a decent sized room.  The most well-rounded speaker I’ve heard at $10K is the Revel F228be.

The Paradigm Persona 3F is also worth a close look, as is the new Magico A3.  I preferred the Revels to either, but some swing the other way, and all are worth a demo.

The Legacys mentioned above are another strong choice.  I haven’t had the chance to hear the Signature or Focus, but I was very impressed by the Aeris (though I’m not sure how much Legacy’s wavelet processor had to do with that).

@jsm71 makes a good point.  Don’t discount the possibility of going with some standmounts and some good subs, though if you go that route make sure you get an integrated amp or processor that can do proper bass management and that has some form of room correction, such as the Anthem STR line.
