I should add that the turntable moved into a different room with a wall between it was distanced from the right speaker by about 16 feet and about 22 feet from the left speaker.As I say its hard to keep long interconnects off the floor in such an arrangement but using string from ceiling or trestles to elevate is recommended.Trestles elevating long interconnects is another use for them.Support your HiFi accessories companies also.The come up with a lot of good stuff.
