Inexpensive and it can definitely improve the sound and allow you to get the most out of almost any DAC. Although totally frustrating that most DACs don’t actually work optimally out of the box and need a band-aid like this.....

Had the 120 modified by Frank VanAlstine and the preamp modified by Michael Fraser. Total killer for a small outlay in cash.
