Yamaha CD S1000

Seeking opinions of this Yamaha CD/SACD player if there are any owners, my main interest is the sound quality for SACD playback in stereo made, any reliability issues and any other items in connection with this player.

You mean quiet before music engages or quiet with volume turned down all the way? FYI, my very first CD player was a Yamaha, very compact and a quiet machine, it was stolen shortly after I bought it when our house was burglarized.
