Well, with that last comment Dan you have wondering if I should cancel my refund request and wait it out for the Deep Core. I like that your'e always looking to improve products and look forward to what you might come up with the project s2 dac. From what you've read or seen thus far with the Deep Core, do you have any ideas to enhance it or are you planning on seeing thru what Doug and Mark had started? |
Hey Dan. I'm am posting comments from another thread from 2 of the beta testers.

I am honestly not at liberty to say exactly what the initial design intent was, but I do believe that it was not initially designed to handle 15A (1800W) of power. It is my understanding that now, the unit has been tested at a steady 1200W load and with a minor change or two, should be able to handle the full 1800W. As to the design itself, I would have to test it myself and see how it works. My understanding of the design as it stands is that it should work very well as designed. I will have the unit soon to evaluate and I can then make more intelligent contributions here. It is true that I am always looking to improve products. I first always want to be sure that a new design works as it was intended as basis of design. Once that is established, then certainly, if I learn of ways to improve a product down the road, I certainly will. Thanks, Dan |
