Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

The copy is excellent, rather odd in places though.

So Consequences part 3 ... Godley & Creme
Today and everyday, Lucinda Williams' album West, containing the two best love songs I've heard in years, "Where Is My Love?" and "West". Exquisite beauty.
"...rather odd in places....".

Well, that’s certainly one way to describe it! :-)

Quirky and captivating to me. They create a whole world in the mysterious Mr. Blint’s "attic".  It’s quite the tour de force just for promoting their invention, "The Gizmo".  I grew up at the tail end of radio as "visual" entertainment. Consequences reminds me of some of those old shows. Have to hand it to G&C for prescience. Climate change, whatever the cause, wasn’t much talked about back then. Not to mention, the "weaponization" of weather!

"Look at that cloud! Is it one of ours or one of theirs?"

Odd in a good way but still odd...lol.
Although to hear all the wonderful British accents was heart warming and Mr. Hague accent sinking the more he drank was funny.
Yes a thoroughly enjoyable and compelling skit that I had to get to the end of.
Into the valley of the mooning .... Magnum.

The most I have ever paid for vinyl.. Ouch!

But had to have it.....
