Super Hi Rez Downloads by Acoustic Sounds

Was reading that Acoustic sounds sells Hi Rez Downloads on their site.
Can the downloads be streamed with a standard music streamer or is other equipment required?
The Acoustic Sound site indicates they recommend a Sony Walkman, Teac and other products to use their 
service. Any clarification would be appreciated.

You need a NAS, or computer to store the files. You need a network player or streamer that can access files on a local drive or network drive and some software to play them. Read some reviews on computeraudiophile or stereophile's audiostream sites to get up to speed. It's a big topic! Cheers,
