Replacing fuse

Would replacing an 6.3A SLO BLO fuse with an 8 SLO BLO fuse be ok? Thanks for any information.

Because the 8 slo blow has a higher threshold before blowing. Why did the 6.3A blow? Right there it tells you not to invite damaging your equipment.
