Huh? You can cryo the whole thing for less than the cost of the inlets. And the cables. Say what the hell.
Send Inlets to be Cryoed
Anyone removed their component inlets and sent them out to be cryoed? Furutech inlets fit nothing of mine and I'm not taking a drill or Dremmel to my gear to make them fit. I thought about removing the existing inlets and having them cryoed. Anyone done this, or replaced stock inlets with upgrades? How were the results? Thanks.

Some parts of some component should not be cryoed and will cause damage. Unfortunately, I no longer remember which parts. I'd run that question by alan m. kafton / audio excellence az, inc. https://www.thecablecooker.com |
Meitner cryos the whole component. Always has. Apparently without any problems. I’d opine there is more risk involved in shipping the component than in cryoing it. You could consult with any one of a number of cryo labs to see what they say as they have had experience with this issue. Faint heart ne’er won fair maiden. 💃 |
