CLEARAUDIO Ambient Turntable compared to a VPI scout II

Hi, I have an opportunity to buy the clearaudio(used). I currently have a VPI scout II hyper model. Am I making a sideways move?

I changed my VPI Prime mainly because my wife couldn’t stand using the unipivot arm. We are much happier now
