Cerious Technologies NEW Graphene Cables

Now, this is not a advertisement, just a posting sharing my experience on some well made great sounding cables at a very reasonable price. Besides, I don't think Cerious Technologies is set up for a big influx of cable orders.

But, if you get the chance to try these cables, please do.

I have been interested in the newer cables coming out that are using Graphene as a conductor. SR cables seemed interesting, but I always hated the way there cables had all those extra wires (with the active shields and such). I then noticed an ad early in I think November or December from Cerious Technologies for Graphene cables. I investigated how the cables were assembled and it seemed like quite a laborious process.

I ordered (with a 30 day money back guarantee) the balanced Graphene interconnects, and boy did they impress me. Such depth, soundstage, realism, frequency smoothness, effortless sound. I was truly impressed!  I now have a complete loom of the Cerious Technologies Graphene cables. That is; interconnects, speaker cables, digital cables and power cords.

I ended up selling all of my other cables and to those of you who have read my postings know that cables have always been my curiosity.

So, as I began this post, let me again iterate, I have no alliance to the company, my posting is for those of you looking for an great alternate high quality Graphene made cable without spending a fortune.

Yes Hansen is still making speakers.  You'd hardly know it because it's virtually impossible to reach them.
They came out with a Prince V3 about 2 years ago.  I bought these V2 speakers sight unseen having never heard them because I've never seen a bad review.  The fact that Lyric in NY was a dealer helped me decide as well.  I think I got a pretty good deal on them (less than $20k, retail is $40k) and they look virtually new.  I think it was meant to be because I couldn't wire someone I don't know that much money but an audio dealer friend of mine was in NY, paid for them and had them shipped to Florida and I paid him.  They're really good, IMHO on par with Wilson Alexias.  I had Wilson Duettes before this and I really liked them.  I wanted Alexias but couldn't find any for less than mid $20k.  They also have good WAF compared to some other speakers I was looking at that were much taller and the wife hated.
The CT cables should work well with the Hansens.

I let the GM cables break-in for 100 hrs on the cable cooker while I tended to clients this week. After three stressful days of presentations to my largest client, finally got to reinstall and listen to my GM speaker cables.

 

All I can say is WOW. There are no longer speakers in my room, just music. First time I have ever experienced something like that in my system. CD after CD, all I hear is music. Performers enter and exit my listening room, Jackson Browne, Frank Sinatra, Michael Feinstein, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Hornsby. I can hear every nuance, every chord played, every inflection of a vocalists voice. On the live recordings I don’t merely hear the audience, I discern almost every pair of hands clapping. Everything is cut from the same cloth, you hear fundamentals and overtones like they sound in live music. There is detail but real detail, not audiophile etched detail that you never hear listening to live music.

 

I can’t recommend these cables highly enough. While I haven’t heard some of the ultra expensive cables out there I’d venture the GM will hold their own against anything up to $10k. I guess now I have to start thinking about the CT interconnects and power cables as well.

I have owned or demo’ed many of the ultra $$$ cables, and in my opinion, the Cerious Matrix is the best.

Listened to the GM cables in my system for a little while yesterday and today.  They didn't sound quite as good as they did on Friday when they were straight off the cable cooker.  Since they are still just 10 days old I am assuming they are still burning in and haven't fully settled.  I've had cables go through good/bad/better stages before.  I'm just a little surprised because I would have thought 4 days on the cooker would be a complete burn-in.  Maybe not.  I will report back.

ihmeyers, you just need to give your cables more time in your system while listening to music, they are great cables and will eventiually settle in.
