Got you, axememan,,,what I'm I thinking,,,well, I got a good welcome not having to hear all that in my inquiry. But I am aware now and not feeling sure footed anymore. But I do wanna hear good feedback with sound backup positive or negative. I'd like to know the truth about the product and not so much about legalities of patents. That is the job of the examiner.
In my job, I encounter stuff like hey you got a good concept there the boss is asking if we can have it patented,,, just shook my head. That is somebody's job. But I'm a sucker for innovators, the outside thinkers, the term they use is the "disruptors". We need them. We all benefited from them except the ones being disrupted. Change is constant.
I really like to know if this design works and not just something new and just fade away slowly. Too bad I have to ask you all who have to spend some money to know the real story. So if ever you are so nice to share to me your experience, positive or negative, with the DI's, I would be so thankful. I agree the outside looks is something to get used to. But if I can hide these statues and just enjoy the sound, I can live with that.
One I don't like to do is repacking anything I just bought.
back to the PL's so I reckon the integrated version is just as good and can be a savings to spend for something else like a good DAC streamer. I like that. Is this true statement?
For those who were rolling with the HP version, have you tried running two or four less tubes without any problem. So running only four tubes on an HP version, will it work and what was the result.
To those who have the integrated version, is the preamp power supply sharing with the amp? No tube rectifiers? Just regular SS diodes, I assume.
Tuberist, thanks for your input.
I believe the Pendragons do not have this new innovation?
To those who do not want to see posts about Tekton, I'm sorry.
