How do I use Casa Nova analog inputs for HT?

I purchased a used Casa Nova and will be attempting
to use it for home theater. My idea was to have a
dvd player decode the signal and send it to the
Casa Nova over 6 analog outputs (left, right, center,
left surr, right surr, sub). That way, I will be able
to take advantage of newer formats such as TrueHD
and DTS-HD.

I can't find any instructions in the Casa Nova user's
manual for sending six analog outputs to the six
speaker outputs.

I know I can use the coax/optical inputs on the Casa Nova,
but that won't work for TrueHD or DTS-HD. Anyone know of
a way to connect analog outputs of a dvd to the Casa Nova
for 5.1 sound?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I am not sure I understand the question and above replies. I believe (correct me if I am wrong) Jaidog will be using a Blu-ray player (DVD players can't decode Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio) and have the Blu-ray player pass the decoded 5.1, or 7.1, signal to his Theta Casanova processor (which can’t handle Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio via HDMI). Is this correct? So, you want to know how to get the Casanova to handle the 5.1 or 7.1 decoded analog channels?

If I have got this right, I will be very interested to see what the board members have to say about this task. I have exactly the same problem with my Pioneer Elite Blu-ray player (which can decode Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio to analog) and Krell HTS 7.1 which can’t do the decoding, but, can handle a 5.1 or 7.1 analog input.
Krell HTS 7.1 has 7.1 analog inputs, Theta Casanova doesn't. Instead, Theta user needs an additional unit called Six Shooter which accepts 5.1 (in this case) analog inputs and then interphases with the original CasaNova.

What Jimburger is saying is that the stripped down audio signal (i.e., lossy) from a BluRay player are of higher quality than that from the good old DVD player so it would still be an improvement feeding the same prepro with coax/toslink input from a BluRay player.

I have the Krell HTS 7.1 as well. For lossless audio, I am using the Oppo BDp-83 analog outputs to the Krell. All the speaker distance, volume trims etc. are done on the player.
Thanks to everyone for their advice. I was not aware
that the signal over the coax/toslink is better from
a blu-ray player than a standard dvd player. Based on
this info, I will attempt to use this interface from
my oppo bdp-80 (not yet purchased) to CasaNova.

Follow-up question: Does the Krell HTS 5.1 have 5.1
analog inputs that would allow lossless audio from
a blu-ray player? And, how does the HTS 5.1 compare
with the CasaNova for both HT and 2-channel sound?

Thanks again.
