Oregon Audiophiles...

How many Oregonians are there here on Audiogon?

Eric, Have you tried Belmont Station on SE Stark Street around 45th? They have many, many brands.
Let me say one more thing about the Portland Audio Club. The philosophies I try to keep to as organizer are (1) let's get to know -- and learn from -- one another, (2) everyone's system sounds good to them, (3) what is "best" (in audio as in music) depends on your tastes and priorities, and (4) we're in it for the music. Those ideas are not a hard sell at PAC, which means to me that we have a great group of members.
So if you're looking for "shoot-outs", we're not the club for you. If you want to share your love of music and audio with others, and possibly make some friends, we are!
Mike, there's a whole new universe of great beer in Portland.  Don't be afraid to try them!
I've performing in the taverns, bars, and small theaters around town (and on the coast), where entertainers get drink tickets. My taste runs to the "dry", so I've been trying out the IPA's. I like 'em, but still prefer German and Netherland beers.
