I just scored a sweet pair of CS 2.4SE loudspeakers. Anyone else currently or previously owned this model?
Owners of the CS 2.4 or CS 2.7 are free to chime in as well. Thiel are excellent w/ both tubed or solid-state gear!

I asked my friend Parke Pauterbaugh who used to be a writer at Rolling Stone if he knew anything about the experiment with Thiel and Bryston. here is our conversation: PP: No, I never heard. Last time I visited the mag they were all listening to music on earbuds. The place was quiet as a church. Not like when I worked there and music was blaring from many offices. Me: thanks. sounds like it has become a really boring place. who would listen to rock and roll on earbuds? what a waste of good music PP: It was a boring place. I was dismayed at what a character-less place it had become. |
