speaker types and biwire

Are some speaker types more biwire friendly than others?
monitors vs full range? bookshelf vs floor standers?
bass reflex vs something else? single woofer vs double woofer? 2 way vs 3 way ?
I have Chord Carnival Silverscreen shotguns and have an upgrade option to Rumour biwires. I listened to the Rumours but cannot tell if the improved sound is mostly from the better cable or the extra terminals. I have 3 way floor standing dual woofer bass relex speakers. Thanks for any suggestions.

It depends on the design of the crossover and not all speakers with two sets of binding posts have crossovers designed for bi-wiring.

I'm sure a lot of what you heard was in the better speaker wire.

Between sixes and sevens here. My speakers are an obscure brand from a defunct company. Any way to tell what type of crossovers they have?
