Depends on what (and how) you want to listen to, and probably on what you are connecting them to, but I remain partial to my old Sonus Faber Concertinos for a "warm" sort-of-smallish room full sound. They are available used. If that's not your cup of tea, that's fine - I don't try to impose my listening taste on anyone else.
