Miracles in Audio, by luck, by good choices,by design or by tweaking...

I owned a low cost headphone for many years, the Fostex TH7B, first version( a new one close version exist Fostex TH7BK), semi-open headphone...I was never completely satisfied by any headphones I ever owned: Hifiman 400, Stax basic lamda, Stax 5 gold,Akg 340,Akg 701, beyerdynamic 990, and T150... Because in each of them with all their qualities I never listen to at the same times, a confortable headphone with natural timbre and voicing, with a good imaging and a realistic soundstage(not too close to my ears)...


For the last days I tweaked this Fostex, to damp his internal resonance I used sorbothane, I put some shungite stones at the exterior part of the cups and I use some Herkimer diamond in the interior pads( 3 at 120 degree) … Now this low cost headphones crush all my others if I sum all his qualities... For example his mids and voicing cannot beat the AKG 340 but among all my other headphones it is the best that is near that mids and it is more confortable, and with longer cable than the 340...His imaging is better and more realistic than the 340 etc etc...It is the same if I compare with the others...


His most important qualities is natural timbre and clear imaging,very precise pinned point accuracy and natural, so clear it crush for that ALL the others to dust...In the French audio circle the reviews were more than very positive few years ago...Diapason d’or and choc Classica...I am not the only one impressed buy the ratio quality/price... But remember that thesae reviewers dont tweak their headphone...The difference between before and after the tweaks are staggering...


Yes Miracles happens in Audio: cost is under 100 American dollars... Few years ago they cost me 50 bucks new... I never dreamed that I will go back to headphones...

The pyramids are sitting , elevated and not directly on them, on top on the embedded printed horizontal antennas of 2 of the Shuman resonators...On the other 2 the shungite is under them...The S.G. is like an apparatus that transmit the power of the stones, and the cabling between S.G. and the other stones, all connected in a grid,are very powerful, way more than without cables, and without S.G. It is audible in headphone and speakers alike, in nearfield listening or normal listening...

Shungite act the best and positively in synergy with other stones mainly on : power supply, wall wart, conditioner, electrical panel of the room and of the house, router, computer...I dont put it on dac,or amplifier, I try on headphone with mixed results also,because it can degrade the sound...But on the different list I just described the effect is amazing and good for me... But I use also other stones with it... It is like each stones compensate with one another their resulting filtering action on E.M. fields of the room and the house...On the Schuman generators shungite act very good but I use other stones to complement his power...If you want to try, it is simple, try with one of the element of the list I just give to you, and try all the place and keep it on the best for you...


I have ordered a fifth Schuman generator, I was amazed by the use I discovered for them with stones and cable...It cost me 10 bucks from China(a usb one) I will modify it with stones and connect it on my grid... I am sure that this will be even better than now...

I lived today a real experience revealing how much a Totl speaker, in this case a MMG magnepan, with a good source and Quad amplification with Conrad-Johnson tube pre-amp can be polluted by E.M. fields noise non treated...Perhaps also other kind of noise...

I will make an experiment and take some 10 stones simply at the right place et watch the surprize of the owner... I will report here... In few weeks...


By the way these MMG Magnepan are a product as such at another level, more sophisticated and better than my top Mission speakers Cyrus 781...But the level of noise was so much, that in their state and installation I prefer way much more my own inferior speakers...This is very instructive of the way and the "How" a top systems in audiophile term can be underused at a level lower than his true potential in a noise polluted environment, unbeknownst to the owner...Even in this state tough the Magnepan are so resolving that they live in a level where no Mission speakers can live, whatsoever my tweaks, and cleaning methods...But when degraded by noise I prefer to this superior Magnepan the natural timbre and imaging way much of my Mission, which are an inferior speakers however... Amazing lesson for me about the power of my tweaks...
