15 AMP or 20 AMP Power Conditioner.

Sorry I am not clear on this, can you run a 20 amp power conditioner on a 15 amp line ?

A 15amp wall receptacle will not accept a 20amp plug.If the line runs from a 20amp breaker you could install a new 20amp receptacle in place of the 15amp receptacle.

@smodtactical,  Why not?  Conditioner does not take any power until you plug in something into it.

@jtcf  My Furman Elite 20PFI has  20 amp socket but comes with a cable that ends with 15A plug.   You cannot just change breaker without making sure that wiring is adequate (wire gauge) for 20A.
