Auralic Altair X Auralic Altair G1

Can anyone tell if the new model Auralic Altair G1 is indeed superior in sound quality to the previous model Auralic Altair ??

I am going with a Lumin myself. They have a dealer network 4 to 5 times the size in the u.s. judging from dealer listings on each company's website.
