Bookshelf

I have an office 19' x 12.5'.  It is split between office and media making stands difficult or impossible to place.  I have bookshelves on the 12.5 wall with width of 24" and adjustable shelves.

Ok is there a speaker that can operate acceptably in that bookshelf.  I am still listening to a 30 year old pair of inexpensive Klipsch models and would like to step up.  Music: British progressive, rock, jazz, folk and classical in about that order.  Nothing particularly face melting.  Unless you include some King Crimson in that category.

Say a max budget of $2500.  Is this possible? Suggestions?

Thanks

The drivers used in this model are very well-regarded.
My usual response would be something from KEF. The new Wharfedale Linton's look really interesting too (if not too big). They would have satisfying bass I would imagine.
