Recommendations for Preamp for Balanced SPL Performer s800

Hello,
I just received the SPL Performer s800 Balanced Power amp and was looking to find a nice match in a preamp for it. Thinking maybe a nice tube preamp would compliment it. Was hoping you all could possibly give me some recommendations?

So I was looking at 3-4K which is what the SPL Director MK2 is. But was hoping to get some tubes into the mix. Has to have balanced outputs though.
