Replacing the binding posts at Magnepan 1,7i

I have bought Cardas CCGR-S binding posts to replace the originals at my Meggie's 1,7i

The hole at original binding posts insulator are too small.

How best to solve that out technically?

Please help I do not want to do any nonsense.

The holes are SO close to being big enough for the Cardas posts (the holes are just a hair too small) that a small round hand file run around the hole perimeters for a few minutes will take off enough metal. I enlarged the holes in the plates of my Tympani T-IVa that way. If you ever want to reinstall the stock Maggie connectors, the holes still allow that, no harm done.
bdp24,

You enlarged only holes in the plates.? What about holes in the stock post insulator? Did you remove stock one and replace it with Cardas post insulator? How to remove stock post insulator not to demaged the plate?
