Hooking up my JL sub

Folks - I need a little help. Trying to figure out best possible way to connect my JL Audio F112 sub to my Marantz AV7005 processor/preamp.
Signal is coming from Benchmark DAC 1 - yes I know it’s a preamp and yes I love the sound directly from it - except that there is no remote volume control and I am lazy.
Passing signal to my Marantz in Pure Direct mode cuts the signal to the subwoofer. Can I use a RCA Y splitter and pass one signal to Marantz and the other to JL audio?

Yes. That’s why the preferred method is using a line level connection which both passes the sub info to the sub while removing this information from the mains.
That sub does not have a high pass filter. Any way you hook it up the mains will run full range!
Not if you hook up to a preamp that has a crossover adjustment. Last night I played around and was able to shut off all equalization and Audessy setup in Marantz and manually adjust the crossover for the front R/L to 80hz. Also able to adjust the bass delay to 12ms and both my sub and speakers are now singing sweetly. LOC connection does not provide you with this configuration as a matter to fact gives you double bass.
I am still a little confused and any help will be great. Willing to try what @millercarbon suggested. Just got 2 questions:
1. If I connect using LOC most on the market are for car audio and says max RMS 50W. Is that a concern. 2. Once I successfully connect the subs using LOC and adjust the crossover on the sub - can I have another XLR connection from my Marantz AV to use as LFE for movies? Will dual setup work? Thanks

Jensen Iso-Max SP-2SX is your answer, it use transformer isolated the speaker output to xlr output up to 750W! And you don’t have to worry any hum introduce to the system or upgrade to a balanced power amp.

Check with your subwoofer manufacturer, most subwoofer in the market don’t accept both connection simultaneously, you can use a ARX RS-1 switcher switch between 2 channel from DAC1/LOC and Marantz AV7005 sub out.
