Non-comprehensive (no saxophones) but perhaps canonical (for me) with respect to the roots of a certain old white guy’s path through Fusion.  Goes without saying YMMV.  Probably this belongs elsewhere.  Try it,  amend it, enjoy it.  You know.  
As a sometimes ( always lousy ) bass player, I always thought Jaco was a God - so I was wondering what happened to him ? Man, not a good story but seemingly appropriate to our crazy times.... so very sad
