ZYX Compilance

ZYX Cartridges:I was wondering if anybody could tell me if the stated compliance on the spec sheet is measured @10hz or 100hz?
I have read that the compliance on the spec sheet is for static compliance not dynamic.
What I would like to know is the dynamic compliance @10hz so I can determine resonance frequency.
If nobody knows would it be possible for a Zyx owner to measure their own cartridge?
Any help is appreciated.

You need Hi Fi Test LP to measure actual resonance freq. of your arm/cart. The range is 8 - 15 Hz, why do you think you need 11 Hz?? Change headshell if you want to tune the resonance freq.

I've been using my ex Zyx cartridges on EPA-100 and Reed 3P "12. With EPA-100 you can use different headshells, with Reed you  an choose the mass and length of the arm when you're buying the arm ("9, "10.5, "12 inch available from the manufacturer). Special mounting screw for a cart can change the mass a bit.
I had a view different ZYX cartridges and what I can say is that
that the full effective mass (cartridge plus mounting material plus
headshell plus effective tonearm mass) should exceed 25 grams
(28 grams are even better).
I'm currently using the ZYX Universe II Silver base (8.2 gm) w/ the Kuzma 4P (effective mass - 13 gm). Also had it with Cornet 2 tonearm (effective mass = 12.5 gm).  Worked well with both tonearms.
I found this on Vinly Engine can anyone confirm

Zyx is a Japanese maker and Japanese makers usually specifies their compliance at 100 Hz, so if we say a static compliance of 15 @ 100 Hz, this means a dynamic compliance of roughly 7.5 @ 100 Hz. Now, to convert to 10 Hz we use 7.5 x 2 or x2.2 and get 15 or 15.4. So a static compliance of 15 @ 100 Hz is roughly a dynamic compliance of 15 @ 10 Hz.
@dolphytrane forget about static compliance, only dynamic compliance is what we need to choose the arm. Vinyl engine is a source with a lot of misinformation when it comes to data. ZYX dynamic compliance is 15cu (horizontal) and 12cu (vertical), both measured at 100Hz.

To convert it to 10Hz we have to multiply on 1.7 (not on 2.2).
So everything you have written is wrong. Where did you get your data, do you have ZYX cartridge ? I have original manual on hands from my ex ZYX Premium 4D SB. Static compliance does not even mentioned in the original printed manual for ZYX (because nobody need it).

at 10Hz ZYX compliance is about:
25.5 cu (lateral)
20.4 cu (vertical)

This is medium dynamic compliance and it’s quite normal for a modern LOMC. This is the reason why ZYX is fine for most of the modern tonearms.
