Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.
I listened to Trower songs: Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....
Then I pulled out "Gamma". I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....
Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?
David, I love her voice and am so disappointed in the production of the cd. Her voice is recessed, almost taking a back seat to unnecessary and distracting horns. It could have been so much more, don't you agree? After the first song, the excitement fades, for me.
Have you heard LC's recent release "Thanks For The Dance" compiled by his son, Adam Cohen?
Of course, would not miss it. I am impressd how well it seems to be put together given that music was added much later. At least that is how I understood it was done.
