Fyne Audio 302’s....anyone heard them or have them?

Hi all...

I’m trying to resist the equipment swapitis, but have wondered if moving to the right kind of smaller floorstanders might hit more of a sweet spot for my small listening area (against a short wall corner of a long rectangular living space).

I love...always have loved floorstanders and would rather not move to standmount/sub complexity if I can avoid it. There’s an almost tactile tonal completeness about them that just win me over.

Been seein great things about the Fyne Audio F302 floorstanders. Wondering if anyone here likes them, impressions? Other speakers within their under 1K range that compare and/or supersede?

The Fyne products are said to be former Tannoy engineering.

Sorry to respond to an older discussion but thought I would mention that I heard 2 sets of Fyne speakers at the Florida Audio Expo over the past weekend. Heard the 702 with Pass amp and the 502 with Bryston. The 702 room was exceptional, by far the best under $10,000 speakers at the show. The 502 were a great value for under $3000. Price wise both were very impressive. I will be dragging my amp down to Suncoast Audio in Sarasota in the near future for a demo
Ranjan,

Not at all, and thank you for responding! I really appreciate it. I would guess safe to ascertain that the 302’s might follow suit in that high-quality and performance for the price observation you’ve made.

Very curious about your findings when you take your equipment and test those at Suncoast Audio.

Although well below the category of those fine amps you’ve mentioned...if you have the time and curiosity, I’d love to get your impressions of the F302’s while you’re there...

But you’ve already given me a great deal to go on, and I thank you 🙏🏼
Fyne looks like the new, maybe better Tannoy - so a lot of us Tannoy fans are curious and excited about them. Though I can't help you with the sound of Fyne speakers as I've not personally heard them yet, the buzz around them continues to grow, and reports on their sound quality (including people familiar with the Tannoy sound) is checking off all the right boxes.

However, with us Tannoy enthusiasts it's all about the magic of dual-concentric drivers. Most of us won't give any other models the time of day. The Fyne 300 series doesn't have a dual-concentric; you have to go 500 series for these to appear. So I'd strongly suggest you look more towards the 500 series, even if it takes longer to save for.
I was told by the sales rep that there is also a F502SP that uses the 502 cabinet (a bit smaller than the 702) but with the 702 drivers and crossover. This one I believe is in the $5000 range. That one I would be very interested in hearing. All of these speakers are easily driven which is great for me because I’m a tube amp fan.
I had never even heard of Fyne Audio until this weekend. I can tell you the sound of the 702 was very captivating from the start. I truly thought they would sell in the $15,000-$20,000 range. For under $10,000 I Haven’t heard anything better (new anyway).
