Whats on your turntable tonight?


For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO

Well now we have three people admitting to listening to Moxy.
Medic! Men down!
Just read the biography of Moxy and it seems the first two albums are probably all that is worth listening to.

Bad timing and original vocalist problems scuppered them.

Now I know where I first heard of them.

Was in NME in England when they covered the up and coming wave of Canadian hard rockers in the mid 70,s.
Rush, Styx, Mahogany Rush, Moxy etc.
The first song on II has an upbeat hook that might have caught you.  But I don’t think there is any guitar work even close to what’s on the first album.
