Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Gary Moore- live from London 2LP

CD VERSION is shortened by a lot.

Gary would NEVER have let this happen.
mascot label made a 1 cd with many songs, shortened for the 1 cd release.

So by making a 2 cd with the full recording, and spending an additional 30¢ for the 2nd cd, was a problem?!,

 disgusting!

2LP release has the full show on 2lp

Even toe download card included is the shortened cd version.

sad!
I’m glad I have my 99$ HP hoo’ed to my yammy  receiver, via rca’s and a splitter, playing into my computer via audiolab 3.0 (I think)
technics sl1200 mk2 with ortofon arkiv stylus or the nightclub 2, depending on the audio of the LP.

If the mass n mids are weak, I use the nightclub, if the treble is weak, I use the arkiv Concorde !!

 Makes great recordings!

Looks like I’ll be recording the LP via what I have.

dont want a shortened version by buying the cd version.
will, record the 2 LP with much care through audiolab, boost some mids, or treble, or bass depending on the final recording.

 I love my audiolab setup.

Recorded probably 270+ records to nice Taiyo Yuden cd’rs’a

most are-old and do have some pops, crackles, etc,, but when play8g through my stereo, I get the relaxed LP tone, so nice,
even my dog stays in the room,
whee as a standard cd, the dog will get up and go. Lay in the other room.

 Analog is so nice!

cds better for easy, but if you take the time to clean, dry, remove static, it is well worth the time and reward!
grey9hound,

Glupson,
Tom and Jerry soundtrack . Surely you mean the (Scott Bradley ) one .
Those were the Good Cartoon Days .
Not quite the same these days
It was a few of the early cartoons, I guess from the 1950s if not earlier. The one playing at the time of my posting had An der schönen blauen Donau with piano etc. so it was, to be fully accurate, Johann Strauss. Tom really messed it up that time. Otherwise, I like them all.
