Spatial M3 have blown my mind after a long diet of Maggie’s.
Very musical and very affordable.

My rec would be a used pair of Thiel 2.2's.  Similar to the Vandy's but with clearer midrange and tremendous see-through transparency if the electronics are up to it.  You'll get full 40hz - 22khz out of these.  Tremendous especially on jazz, chamber music, acoustic folk and much rock.  Also do well with both solid state and tube amplifiers.  Very even 5 ohm impedance.

You'll need 2-1/2 min behind them and a good distance (3-5) feet from the side walls.
