Are manufacturer AC cables good enough?


I have two PS Audio AC3 and two Pangea AC 14 cables I don't use.  My thinking is that Ayre wouldn't supply cables that are inadequate for their components.  Is that thinking flawed?

I haven't looked at this thread recently.  I'm amazed by how it's grown.  Glad I didn't ask about something controversial like MQA.

When the power cord is heavier than the component to which it's attached, you know you've got a problem.

Of course, that's why they invented scuba diving weights.

The same way Nature equipped up with two ears so we'd be able to wear glasses.

I couldn't agree more. If your system has the resolution & your hearing is at least average, a high end aftermarket power cord can greatly improve the sound quality.
