rodge827, I love the sound of Charney Companion speakers. I also think they look pretty good and are reasonably compact and light (not often the case with very high efficiency speakers). Although they are not inexpensive, they are nonetheless a ridiculous bargain for what they deliver. Which driver did you select for your Companion. |
In my current lineup of components in the system, I would say that the nicest looking thing is my Naim ND 555 server or my Basis Debut turntable. I have two Isotek power conditioners that are made of aluminum that have a decent appearance too. But, if one appreciates funky, industrial looking gear, my custom-built linestage would take pride of place. It is built on a re-cycled chassis with a very large front faceplate (something out of the 1940-50s) with large Davin control knobs for balance control. |
Lansche 4.1 speaker with beautiful finish. It also has purple eye( plasma tweeter). https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/ACtC-3fH2fqCFwuCTO29sG8ZIyQWKdAnwApc802tYjU_7FR-LuSXlpzuU4YNR_e... The above link is 3 years old photo of the speaker. Since then amplifier and Dac had been upgraded but not Lansche. Thomas |
