Please, don’t ever worry about too much watts.
Just know your volume knob limit is all.
I love my headroom, my effortless highs, liquid, airy midrange, and my bass extension.
Don’t be fooled by naysayers who say 100 watts is fine, it’s not.
Just know your volume, and the sound of beginning of distortion, more speakers are blown and damaged by underdriven than having a lot of power.
My speakers (2) pairs are rated at about 20-250 W peak, as most are. My only pair of higher power speakers are old 1986 cerwin vega D-9’s at (350)w peak.
My amplifiers are McCormack mono blocks at 700 WPC, AND a stereo sunfire 600 WPC.
my lowest amplifier WPC is 380wpc at 4 ohm.
Never damaged a driver, and always have amazing sound/synergy.
Power is your friend, always!!
