JA Perspectives VS Tyler Acoustics Linbrook Sig System

It's to my understanding that these 2 models of speakers have a similar sound (etc.etc.etc.) both using the same drivers, with the TA’s coming in under half the price of the JA’s. Has anyone had a chance to listen & compare these two models for themselves?
Thanks

The Perspective’s crossover still operates on the basic principles of the patented Infinite Slope design — common to all JA speakers — with tweaks to the slopes for more optimized performance (this is paraphrased from what Jeff Joseph told me in person).  The crossover remains the key to the JA sound as the cabinets and drivers, while very good, aren’t anything unique or special.
I love Joseph Audio and Tyler Acoustics.  US Audiomart has some Linbrook Sigs for $3500 which is an absolute steal.
Crossover design plays a big role in how a speaker sounds so +1 Soix with regards to that.

I am a total Fritz fanboy as of late.  I would look into a pair of Carrera BE’s if I were you.  They are simply amazing!
Hey b_limo, that's so funny, I just sent Fritz an email just a couple of days, his stuff definitely seems to be held in high regard. I was looking for a floorstander to achieve more bass. I presume subs would be a must with the Carreras? Maybe 2, maybe a Swarm? Lots of cabling!
I'm open...
I’m not so sure that you’d need a sub.  It depends on how big your room is and what kind of bass you want.  They wont rattle your windows but they play really low, like high 30’s.  They had ample, and I mean ample, bass in my room. Perhaps a bit too much actually but my listening room is 11x14 with 8 foot ceilings.

I’ve heard JA’s many times at shows and love them so I have a good reference point with which to judge the Carreras.  I’ve owned Tyler Acoustics.  Seas Excel drivers used to be my favorite until I spent some time with the Revelators, and I’ve always loved Beryllium tweeters.

With some solid stands and placed correctly, with high quality front end components the Carreras are wicked good.
I just hooked up his new and upcoming Carbon 6’s an hour ago and even with them brand new out of the box and my equipment being turned off for 3 weeks, I’m sold.  I have the Carbon 6’s for review but I don’t think they are going back.  I can’t wait to see how these little guys sound once they have 100 hours on them and my associated equipment gets settled again after being off for 3 weeks.

Fritz is a damn genius as far as I’m concerned.  His only downfall is how humble he is and how much he understates his products.  Talk about a serious case of under promising and over delivering.

If I can do anything about it, I will always have a set of his speakers in my home.

Here’s my review of the Carreras...

Here are some pictures of the Carreras I had in for review...

The speakers exude quality and they look better in person than in pictures.  Once you hear them, they look even better.  I’m not so sure that I like the “blingy” appearance of the competition so much anymore. If I were to buy some Carreras though, I would get a finish that had loads of character in it, even if I had to pay extra.  A crazy dye might be fun too as I haven’t seen Fritz do that yet and it would be fun to have a one off, custom made set just for me.
