Rembrandt Audio Model V Speakers....Better Speaker Technology ?

Very interesting, but he gives no frequency response range. I wasn't clear on if it was a powered speaker, but I guess it is (?) because he's talking about using an iPhone for a source. I'm starting to wonder if it's a rich man's version of a Wave radio.

Gimmickry. Anyone who is a member here can see through that. His market is the general public who don’t have a clue about high end sound. Not us........

Meet the new Bose.  He pretty much lost me at “resonating tonewood” like in violins and cellos.  What the hell is tonewood?  Any semblance of accuracy is probably out the window, and his target audience seems to be millennials who’ve never heard anything but cheap earbuds in their entire lives.  If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it’s Bose.  Pass. 

I don’t see anything that would indicate any sort of new technology here as is claimed. It’s a speaker like many others with standard drivers. Just another take on the stand mount/ bookshelf design. Looks to be solid wood instead of mdf, so the price point seems reasonable. His website does list response and goes down to 35 which isn’t bad for a small speaker. He does not list the amperage of the amp, and I’m sure it’s class d. It  states only rca and 3.5 mm input. So not designed for use with a standard sound system, seems like they expect a source to be directly plugged in to it. Limited the options with that choice.
